Kolect (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Ripple mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the App.
By using Ripple, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: email address and password when you register.
- Profile information: display name and avatar image.
- Payment information: PayPal email address for receiving payouts. We do not store credit card or bank account numbers.
- Social media accounts: when you connect a social platform (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), we receive your public profile information (username, display name, follower count) through a secure OAuth flow. We do not receive or store your social media passwords.
- Content interactions: records of content you publish, including the platforms you publish to and any post URLs you submit.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Engagement metrics: views, impressions, likes, comments, shares, and saves associated with your published posts, collected from the respective social media platforms.
- Transaction records: earnings calculations, wallet balances, and withdrawal history.
- Device information: device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility.
1.3 Information We Do Not Collect
- Precise geolocation data
- Contacts or address book
- Microphone or camera data (permissions may be declared for future features but are not currently used)
- Browsing history outside the App
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the App: authenticate your account, display content, process publications, and calculate earnings.
- Process payments: send payouts to your PayPal account.
- Prevent fraud: detect and prevent fraudulent engagement patterns to protect the integrity of the platform.
- Improve the App: analyze aggregate usage patterns to enhance features and fix issues.
- Communicate with you: send transactional notifications related to your account, earnings, and payouts.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: we use trusted third-party services to operate the App, including authentication services, social media publishing tools, and payment processors. These providers access only the data necessary to perform their functions and are bound by their own privacy policies.
- Merchants: brands and merchants on the platform may see aggregated, anonymized performance metrics for content they have posted. They do not receive your personal contact information unless you choose to make it public on your social profiles.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
4. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following categories of services:
- Authentication: secure sign-in and account management.
- Social media platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, and Snapchat for account linking and content publishing.
- Payment processing: PayPal for payout disbursement.
Each third-party service is governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure on-device token storage
- Role-based access controls
- Regular security reviews
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
- Account data: retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
- Transaction and earnings data: retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping regulations.
- Engagement metrics: retained for as long as needed to calculate and verify earnings.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Disconnect your social media accounts at any time

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
